Dear conference presenters, we are pleased to announce that two volumes of selected papers will be published. All the volumes are free of charges for authors.

 

The volumes, which differentiate by language, are detailed below:

 

  1. Title: SPECIALISED DISCOURSE AND MULTIMEDIA. LINGUISTIC FEATURES AND TRANSLATION ISSUES

Note: This volume accepts papers in English only.

 

To be published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing. Cambridge Scholars Publishing is an independent academic publishing house, with more than 6,500 titles across a range of subjects, with a particular focus on the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Note: This volume accepts papers in Italian, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

 

To appear as a special issue of Lingue e Linguaggi (http://siba-ese.unisalento.it/index.php/linguelinguaggi/index). Lingue e Linguaggi is an international double-blind, peer-reviewed, open access journal, indexed in MLA, Ebsco, ROAD, and DOAJ. In the Italian assessment system of academic journals, Lingue e Linguaggi is classified as “Classe A” for Area 10 - Ancient History, Philology, Literature and Art History (including the following areas of studies: English, German, Spanish, Slavic languages, Italian, French, Portuguese, general linguistics, and language teaching). All the authors who gave a talk at the ‘Specialised Discourse and Multimedia’ conference (Lecce 14-16 Feb 2019), are invited to submit their papers for publication in one of the volumes above. PLEASE, CHOOSE THE VOLUME YOU WOULD LIKE TO CANDIDATE FOR AND SEND YOUR MANUSCRIPT FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. Please, do not send the same paper to more than one volume and do not submit for publication manuscripts which are substantially similar to papers which have already been published by yourselves or other authors. All volumes have the same deadlines and selection procedures (double-blind peer review process).

 

PLEASE, NOTE: Due to logistical reasons, we kindly ask you to send an email to the editors as soon as possible and to specify if you are willing to send a paper proposal to one of the two volumes.

 

Deadlines

 

Manuscript submission: 30 June 2019

 

Reviewers’ feedbacks, first round: end of November

 

Publication: by April 2020.

All manuscripts should be formatted according to the authors’ guidelines of the specific volume (see attached files).

 

For VOLUME 1: Please submit your formatted manuscript to Elena Manca: elena.manca@unisalento.it

 

For VOLUME 2: Please submit your formatted manuscript to Antonella De Laurentiis: antonella.delaurentiis@unisalento.it

 

 

In the object line of the message please enter “SPECIALISED DISCOURSE – VOLUME X” (e.g. Specialised Discourse – Volume 2, if you want to send the paper for the Lingue e Linguaggi volume).

 

Papers should be about 6000-8000 words long (including references), in MS/word format.

 

Please do not include any self-identifying information in the paper. On a separate cover sheet, please specify:
